Cab pairing will depend of the room settings. The Jazz bass is played on the Bassman amp while the SPector is played on the KGB amp. I have a Jazz bass and a Spector which I use for funk and more aggressive music respectively. I mostly pair the presets I created or modified with each bass I play regurarly. There are definitely effects that I cannot emulate, but it gets close, it is really a matter of spending the time for me.
